UMFT Multifunctional Center is a public investment for Compania Națională de Investiții (CNI), delivered by STRABAG in Timișoara. a multi-storey teaching and clinical facility for the "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, procured and built under public contracting rules.
As Project Manager for STRABAG through 2023–2024, Alexandru ran the weekly site command meetings with subcontractors, tracked the master schedule against contract milestones, and coordinated the handoff from design to site. reinforced concrete columns and beams, MEP first-fix, and the sequence of floor pours, all documented against as-built drawings and site testing.
On a project of this size and this level of public scrutiny. reception protocols with the local planning authority and the fire authority, FIDIC-based contract administration, and full documentation for the construction book. the discipline is the same one Alexandru has run on private industrial and residential sites for over a decade: a clear schedule, a controlled budget, and a paper trail that holds up to inspection.
